This is a syndicate run water which is run by the medway valley fisheries team. The lake is a large well established gravel pit situated off the A228 opposite Snodland village. The club was founded in 2004 by Tony, James & Simon. After having been involved in the running of various clubs over the years, who wanted the opportunity to develop the best possible fishery. They are discerning anglers who enjoy all aspects of the sport and respect both our fish and the environment. I have been a member for a season and intend to remain so as the fish are excellent and great size but not necessarily easy to catch. The lake is approximately 18 acres in size and runs up to a depth of around 18-19' at its deepest and is a mixture of gravel and silt . During the summer months aggressive weed growth can sometimes be a problem at short ranges as the light penetrates the shallow areas and promotes a more suitable environment for growth but with a little localised clearance and crafty rig application will overcome this.
