Nice pool, some alright fish in the small pond! Lovely surroundings! But no big'uns when we went... But that was probably just us!

pikeing

A nice place to fish .some nice carp to be had and roach.bream.tench .well worth fishing . Pike fishing only allowed January to march last time I was there but some big pike to be had if you are lucky

rolyat

Great place to fish some really big fish to be had L

lingking

Fished the Delph lake on the first day of the pike season. With 5 anglers and 10 rods out you'd have thought something must happen but NO. They might be in there but they weren't playing. Lovely venue tho.

mezzer

Great day on small lake, strawberry pellets work a treat

great fishery. very picturesque. 2 course and 1 fly lakes. small lake for beginners, carp upto 15lbs very silty bottom. large lake for the hardened Carper with carp upto 30lbs. very hard place 2 fish if u don't know what ur doing. I fished there all last year and it was hard work. but Its just a case of finding where they're holding. baitwise, luncheon, maggot, mussels and corn have been productive.

Doesn't matter is you don't have a unhooking mat when you should use one on any fish !

daver

had a few tough days here but it always seems to redeem itself

Tips

will82

use luncheon meat, mussel, sweetcorn or pellet

daver

yeah luncheon meat is good in the summer and mussel seem to attract them in the winter and strange enough strawberry pellet

daver

dont ledger from the side of the house there is a drop in the water by about ten foot down and you will just get snagged
