Fished Heron lake for the first time mid July 2010 over a three day session. Enjoyed the experience. Very hard lake to fish although rewarding, caught my pb leather carp of 19lb 8oz... There are two other lakes with monster fish being caught... Facilities are amazing, beautiful lakes... Highly highly recommended...

amazing cat fishery and well stocked with good sized carp, have to book in advance, only downfall its like all massively overfished so clever carp etc are a challenge but the catfish will take to anyone, the swims are not well maintained regarding hanging branches, mainly willows, so not cast friendly so most lucky anglers use bait boats but all in all brilliant venue
