Colnbook West is a feature-filled four and a half acre venue and is one of our most popular waters. Colnbrook West boasts an impressive head of fish for what is a relatively small lake. The current stock numbers up to nine fish that are over thirty pounds (including the current lake record of 38lb 3oz), more than thirty five over twenty five pounds and a hoard of twenties and doubles. Well known for its quality tench and bream, the lake has produced tench over 11lb and bream of nearly 12lb. This popular venue can get very busy early in the season and we recommend that anglers consider purchasing a ticket for neighbouring water Orlitts or another of our waters – otherwise you may not always get a swim.
Located just off the A4 Colnbrook bypass, the lake is accessed through combination locked gates, with toilet facilities located in the car park.
Large beds of reeds grow along many margins, silt patches and bloodworm beds can be found in most areas and a distinct plateau is located in the centre of the lake - a popular spot for the carp during the summer.
A secure venue located just off the A4 Colnbrook by pass and accessed through combination locked gates Colnbrook shares its car park and toilet facilities with neighbouring venue Orlitts.
