Hazel Court Ponds is a complex of 6 ponds, catering from the pleasure angler to the specialist Catfish and Carp anglers, with a wide variety of fish species including Bream of 8lb, Tench to 8lb 8oz, Golden Tench to 7lb and Roach and Rudd to a very respectable size.
As the name suggests the main occupants of this lake are Catfish with the lake record now a staggering 69lb (April 09).
The Lake contains a good head of catfish and Carp.
The Specimen Lake is home to the bigger Carp on the complex, there is a large head of upper double figure Carp of all varieties.
The Reed pond is an ideal float fishing pond with Roach, Rudd, Golden Rudd, Tench, Bream, Orf and the same colourful Carp that inhabit all the waters. As the name suggests the pond is surrounded with high reeds during the summer making the swims more secluded.
This is our most popular lake with a great mix of fish, catches include Carp of all varieties, Golden Tench to 7lb, Orf to 5lb are quite regularly caught and a large mix of silvers including Roach, Rudd, Bream, Chub and hard fighting hybrids.
Jim's pond is the latest water added to the complex and has already proved itself as a great all-round pond containing Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd and Hybrids.
