River noted for Bream, Perch, Pike, Tench, Roach, Carp and Chub fishing. Run by Gipping Angling Preservation Society.
Baylham Mill downstream to Sharmford Lock.Permits are available from local tackle shops.Key Species:
Fished this part of the river alot over the years (just behind Barham pits), very clear stretch of water and shallow in parts have caught Chub in the shallow fast moving water, big bream and good size pike in deeper parts. As far as river fishing goes in the area this section of the gipping for me is the best.
