North bank only - commencing one field upstream of Wool Manor. The field between the old and new road bridges and downstream of the new bridge to the fence line. Access to the upstream section is through the farmyard near the manor. Total length approx 1600 yards.
Use stick float tactics, 2BB to 6BB, depending on the water flow and wind conditions. Otherwise, ledger rigs or maggot feeder.
White/red maggot & sweet corn proven to be the most successful bait for the Grayling. Maggot for the Dace. Try bread flake and punch for the Big Roach.
From Wool village north over level crossing onto A352 for quarter mile. Park on grass verges by the new bridge, or in the Lay-by slightly beyond the main road bridge on the right.
