best commercial venue around by a mile, not just stunning fish but cracking food and down to earth owners

With out doubt the best commercial in Wiltshire and surrounding area. Ruth & Gordon couldn't be nicer if they tried. The venue is immaculate, the fish are immaculate, very sociable environment and the food is great! I have never blanked even on short after work sessions and bags of 30 to 40 fish are common in the summer. I just wish I could get there more often. Un-Hooking mats are a must and only natural baits which can be bought on site. Without question 10/10!!!

Fished Flaxlands all summer with great success. The venue is busier now due to great fishing and owners Ruth & Gordon have put lots of work into the pegs making platforms to fish from for the winter. Did a afternoon session on 15/10 and had 12 carp all on method tight to the island. Great venue great food friendly people.

1st session of 2015 and managed to catch 11 of the smaller fish, 6 Chub, 4 Roach and one small mirror. The Chub should improve the fishing as the will control the smaller fry fish coming through. Ruth & Gordon are constantly improving the venue every peg now has a platform to fish from. Can't speak highly enough of this venue plus food is excellent and really cheap. 5*'s!!!

Method Feeder with pop-up mini corn all year round, worms work well to. Bread is always a winner late on summer days. Banded Pellet on the Pole or waggler.
