Burshill B is one of two ponds in the Burshill Fishery part of the Brandesburton Complex. Run by Hull and District Anglers Association.
A mature and fairly shallow fishery of about two acres. It is primarily a Tench water but does contain Roach, Rudd, Pike and the odd Carp.
It can become weedy in summer, but in early 2011 we plan to try a new treatment to alleviate the problem. Early morning or evening are the best times for Tench fishing and those caught are often of a good size. 5Ib fish are not uncommon, in 2008 a fish of 8Ib 2oz was reported.
The fishery received a major facelift in 2010, all swims renewed and an extra swim created, and also a completely new path has been created giving easy access around the venue.
