Description

The Royal Berkshire Fishery is one of the finest and most plentiful pleasure fishing lakes in the south of England, boasting prize winning catches for the area and a choice of three superb lakes offering a wide range of freshwater fish. The facilities are second to none with easy access, ample parking, toilet facilities, Rod and Reel Cafe (Cafe open Tuesday - Sunday 8am - 2pm) and a friendly and helpful service run by an established and committed family business.

Details

The Royal Berkshire Fishery was established in 1982. It is a friendly, family-run fishery which prides itself on the quality and condition of it's fish in the lakes and clean and quiet surroundings in which it is set.

Place this in seven acres of beautiful rural Berkshire countryside and you have an oasis for the amateur or professional fisherman.

Lake 1 is our largest lake nearest the car park and contains Carp, Roach, Rudd, Chub, Perch and Tench.

Lake 2 is our centre lake with ample stocks of quality Roach, Rudd, Tench, Perch & Carp.

Lake 3 is our most beautiful and secluded lake, well protected by a natural habitat of trees and shrubs - makes great fishing. It's elongated shape makes all areas easily accessible and is reminiscent of the atmosphere of fishing in a beautiful, rural and peaceful river bank.

Great days fishing, up to 15 Roach over a pound and dozens other smaller ones in between - hope to target the Perch next visit!

Plenty of bites and nice Bream and Roach on lake 2. Some really decent Roach too. Caught most better sized fish on large worm. Also plenty of fish on pellet. Nice little venue. Went on Monday unfortunately and cafe was shut but will be back to taste the local cuisine on another day! 8 quid for one rod is pretty reasonable as well compared to some fisheries!
