I have fished a lot of the lakes in Essex and still my best days have been at Brookfarm. Float fishing and ledgering is rewarding but not easy... In my last visit, I caught 4 doubles and a few singles on luncheon meat cubes off the bottom... Commons and Mirrors are the regulars with the occasional Tench... Great lake, would strongly recommend...

Fished here at the weekend Had around 20 carp was great fun Fished the method using mixed size halibut pellets with a splash of baileys It brought the swim alive

You get a good days fishing and nice people that run the fishery.
