Set in the North Yorkshire countryside, but only 4.5 miles from York city centre, The Willows Carp and Coarse Fishery is the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing days fishing. Consisting of two well established and individual lakes, the fishery boasts many feature-rich pegs offering great coarse and carp fishing for the pleasure, or match angler.

This much loved lake is 3 acres and set among natural, scenic, mature landscaped gardens containing over 5000 trees and shrubs set in approximately 71/2 acres.

Ridge

The lake is approximately 1.25 acres, well matured with six islands with depths ranging from 4 to 6ft. It has many features including rushes, reeds, water lilies and overhanging willows. The Ridge pool has 26 pegs all with good platforms.

Make sure to ring in case there is a match on. Not something I did and had to leave cos all pegs were booked. Went to Tollerton lakes and had a great day. Ha ha.

Fished from 7am to 5pm had 23carp three tench and a roach. Fantastic day. It really is a cracking spot.

Fished twelve hours on 27th June 2013 Caught carp all day. Two just over ten pounds. Lost count of the rest between two and six pounds. Fantastic day. Give it a go.

Great venue for getting the bobbins moving after a few blanks on hard waters. Solid bags and critically balancing my baits did the trick 👌😜🎣👍
