My local pond, stocked with 2500 small mirror & common carp between 6oz & 8oz in April 2010,by September they were averaging around the 1lb to 2lb mark. Good head of mid double carp up to 15lb 7oz. Tench to 5lb , although I must say they have not been showing this year as much as resent years. I would recommend the pond to any angler that wants to guarantee a catch, the small carp being almost suicidal in the spring, summer and autumn, pellet, corn and luncheon meat being the killer baits.
