Esthwaite Water is a varied fishery with deep basins and shallow bays. It is a glacial lake set in the Silurian hills of the Lake District. The lake is stocked weekly during the season; it is perfect for pike fishing, roach fishing, coarse fishing and trout fishing.
During the winter it is business as usual at Esthwaite, not only with some quality winter trout fishing in the Lake District, but also the best pike fishing on offer in the North West of England. The fishery record is 39lb 8oz and every winter numerous 20lb+ fish are landed with a thirty pound plus leviathan a distinct possibility.
