Description

Spring Lea is a series of five pools, offering great day ticket coarse fishing. The pools are well stocked with hard fighting carp and a wide range of other species. This offers a range of angling to suit everyone from the experienced angler, who can set their sights on one of the 20 lb plus carp, to beginners, children and those who are returning to angling after some years away.

Details

Spring Lea is open all year and daily from 7.00 a.m to dusk

  • No night fishing
  • Charges are £6 per rod per day and £5 for children. Tickets are payable on the bank
  • All cars to be parked in the car park. Only disabled visitors can take cars to the waters edge
  • Barbless hooks only
  • All nets to be dipped
  • All fish over 4oz to be netted
  • No braided lines
  • No fish over 2lbs to be kept in keep nets whilst pleasure fishing
  • Do not handle fish with towels or rags
  • Max hook size 10
  • No litter
  • No boilies, blood worm or joker
  • No floating or liquidised bait

Maximum Bait

Hemp, Castor and maggot - 4 pints in total
Worms - 1 kg
Sweetcorn 2 x 198g tins
Meat 2 x 290g tins with fat removed

All feed pellets must be purchased from the fishery - no other pellets allowed. (Most baits can be purchased on site).

A valid NRA rod licence is required

Anyone removing fish will be prosecuted

Gr8 days fishing only problem the best pools are closed over the weekends for matches Wichita ain't good if you work Monday to Friday but always worth goin for a good catch
