I've used stakehill lodges for years now and they have been much improved by Gary Leigh's over the last few years. Good fish of all species in all ponds. I've had plenty of high double figure carp and some great perch, tench and roach as well. Pond 1 is quite a hard fish but I've had some lovely carp off dog biscuit. Pond 2 is a favourite of mine for catching carp off the top on bread in summer. Also a great pond for pole fishing with sweetcorn and luncheon meat. Pond 3,4 and 5 all fish well off pellet and boiles with patience! Pond 5 is a decent walk if you have a lot of gear maybe bring a trolley! I'm sure you used to be able to night fish so long as you have sorted it with Gary beforehand. All in all a good set of lodges that are peaceful, well stocked but still a good challenge! Parking is easy.
