It's the most local I live in Hounslow West originally from Hanwell. It's difficult to find a decent specimen lake without paying the annual fee. You local?

Will be glad to give you directions or even show you if you can wait for 2 weeks (back from china in 2 weeks),word of warning the fishing there is not easy but hey I like a challenge.

So you've been fishing a little less time than myself. For me it's been about a year and a half. I get all my info from a couple of old pros on my road plus a good few of my Friends have been fishing since they where young. Welcome to join us any time but we usually spend the whole day fishing for instance from 8 to 8. Try a little chilli powder on your maggots this time of year.

8 till 8 is cool with me I prefer the longer sessions. A lot of my knowledge so far wold be from a few of my old mans pals + 1 or 2 pal. That's a nice invite Zed not many of my pals think much of fishing. I on the other hand caught the bug.

No probs buddy, most times my son will also come with me. He's 10 and I'm 33 but don't worry as I'm told I'm a hip and down to earth dad. Do you know Lela ave near texaco petrol garage. Most times I meet up with the m8tees there and head of from there. Usually we will do an overnight session at least once a month if your interested on adding that to your fishing experience list.

Yep thats the one, the names zed and I look forward to meeting up for a day of fishing soon. I'll be back in England on the 11th and will have to arrange a day soon after I guess. What's your preferred method of fishing by the way, myself I love a bit of float fishing but don't mind ground baiting or even pva bags. The places I go to generally don't allow boilies so haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. Caught a thigh sized perch the other day, was totally amazed. Will show u some pics when we meet up.

Yeah man definitely. I like ledgering mainly method or pva. If I do float it's normally in the margins plumbed exact (caught some nice fish like that). I have a lot to learn in rigs department got a few apps for that though. I really wanna get out onto a big lake, feature find and spooding, but I guess that's more of a summer long session vibe?! Haven't got too many photos as I normally fish on my todd.

Yea I like a bit of method feeding myself too, did you manage to try out the place in osterly yet? And you can teach me about this "exact plumbing" when we take that fishing trip. Have you ever been to Royal Berkshire fisheries, if not I think that would be a good place for us to have our first fishing trip. A good app to download for your rigs is I rigs, contains all the popular rigs with detailed descriptions of how to prepare them and where and when to use them. I have found this app perticularly useful. Well I'm of fishing again in the morning and I'm as always looking forward to it, seem to be casting my lines about 3 times a week at the moment. Trying to make the most of it as this is my last 10 days here but I'm running low on fish food. :(

Na never been and have never tried predator fishing, by predator I'm guessing you mean pike fishing right! I've only ever done coarse fishing but wouldn't mind especially as its predator season

For bait I used dead roach or smelt. As for tackle I use semi-barbed traces and a big running float. I normally have 2 rods out one suspended bait and one on the bottom. Iv used lures now and again but keep getting snagged.
