Following years of a laclustre management approach, news reached us that someone had really taken an interest in Alvechurch Fisheries and had made a huge investment of time and money to make it top class. Under the direction of Mark Olds, the place looks fantastic and having fished the venue for some 20 years it was really nice to see someone with enthusiasm and passion at the helm. One of the many new developments is the conversion of the Arrow Pool, one of the venues on which I cut my teeth with Carp some 15 years ago, into a specimen water-we had to try it out and some nice fish Came Jord's way! The camera battery ran out before he landed the fish but it was a lovely looking chestnut Common of just over 10lb-Brilliant! http://www.youtube.com/user/bencoley38
